Mary, the mother of Jesus, is someone I now think about more than I ever have during the Christmas season because of an experience I had two Christmases ago when I lost a pregnancy. Her attitude of being the handmaid of the Lord has helped me maintain the perspective of being willing to do the Lord's will even through some of the most challenging trials that have come with being a mother. Today I'm sharing my theory on miscarriage that has been pieced together over time and through my experiences with miscarriages. I don't claim that it's for sure a fact but it's something that has brought a lot of comfort to some of my friends who have experienced the same, and so maybe it can for you or someone you love, too.
