We've been spending hours and hours searching the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale by scrolling through every page online and trying on all the different things in stores. We're searching for quality, fit, and all of the best deals! One of the most popular & classic items? Nordstrom Anniversary Sale SPANX leggings. But you may be wondering, are they actually worth the splurge? Or should I get the dupe? We did the trying on + comparing for you – so let's chat about what's worth the buy!!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale SPANX leggings competitors!

In the Sale we compared the two main faux leather leggings: SPANX and Nordstrom's brand. They might look close to the same online, and your first thought might be “oh, perfect! I'll just get the cheaper Nordstrom ones!”

BUT after going to Nordstrom, seeing both of these leggings in person, feeling the fabrics, and trying them both on, we're SUPER passionate about one legging, and one legging ONLY: the SPANX faux leather leggings are totally worth every penny!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale SPANX leggings

Someone asked us the other day if the SPANX leggings were really worth paying almost $70 for during the Sale, and our answer would 100% be YES!

There's not another faux leather legging that's so form-fitting yet flattering at the same time. The fabric is thick enough where it’s not see through and it’s still ultra flattering and super slimming. It sucks in your mid-waist area and seriously almost makes you look a size smaller! They also kinda give you a butt lift, and what other leggings can really do that?!

We love that they’re thick enough that you can wear any style of shirt and it doesn’t look weird, (as in, they can pass for “pants”), but they also still do look like leggings and they’re super easy to move around in and do physical activity in.

The fabric is a very nice texture and very high quality. These leggings are only $64 during the Sale, normally $98!! After trying these on multiple times we promise you'll love these, too, and wear them for years and years!!

Why not the Nordstrom leather leggings?

The Nordstrom faux leather leggings were honestly soooo tricky to get on because they were super tight in the calves and didn't have much give to them. The SPANX leggings are way more form fitting to your body, and the Nordstrom version are just stiffer and don’t really form at all.

We tried sizing up one size in the Nordstrom leggings to see if that would help, but then the waist was way too big. They’re more difficult to move around in and found that when you bend down, the waist slides down. They’re just not comfortable at all.

The one “pro” that the Nordstrom leggings have over the SPANX leggings is that they’re $25 less. HOWEVER, we think it’s totally worth spending that extra $25 to get the SPANX brand!! SPANX leggings are worth the extra money.
