How I first found out about HOKA running shoes
First things first – how did I even hear about HOKA running shoes?!
When my mom comes to town, there’s only two things she wants to do: walk the beach trail, and get acai bowls from her fave place, Banzai Bowls. If you're following me on Instagram you might remember that my family came for a visit during New Years for the Rose Bowl, and my mom, sister-in-law, and I went down the beach trail with the babies in strollers.
During the beach walk with the family, I noticed my SIL’s running shoes – they were super cute and something unique that I hadn’t seen before! REVIEW: these are the BEST comfortable and supportive running shoes
The HOKA ONE ONE Clifton Edge Running Shoe is a new, popular running shoe that really does in fact feel like you’re walking on clouds! I’m calling these the best comfortable and supportive running shoes because you likely have to sacrifice some comfort with a truly supportive shoe, but not with these!
HOKA has a different look about them with a thick sole that almost flares out and provides softer landings. These are a high sellout risk and now I totally see why my SIL sang their praises! My mom tried on a pair and was blown away with the cushioned support which speaks volumes considering all of her foot issues – with plantar fasciitis she’s ALWAYS looking for the most comfortable shoes.
A lot of the shoes in the past that I’ve recommended to my mom actually haven’t worked because of her foot issues, but the HOKAs made the cut! These come in five different color options, but I picked the hot coral/white ones to go with navy outfits. They run true to size (TTS) and with such high-quality I know they’ll last a long time!

The perfect exercise tank top

I’m LOVING this prAnaLayna Bra Tank Top. Why? Because it’s not insanely tight where every curve and bump are shown, but it still has a fitted feel to it.

Top performance leggings for women
These leggings are another fave I would recommend over and over again if you're shopping active wear to go with your new running shoes! I love these extremely high-waisted, supportive leggings I got from Backcountry. There are a ton of amazing legging options to shop, though, all in different price ranges, prints, and overall design.
These leggings don’t slide down and fit TTS! I totally give them a 10 out of 10 for support and comfort. I'm so sad because these exact ones are sold out, but here's a similar pair from a brand I've worn and love!
