You know the feeling. You finally go to add the thing you've been eyeing to your cart, and there it is in big letters: SOLD OUT. Shoot!! Every single year at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale it happens, but I'm here to help. Early access opens TONIGHT!!

This is the 14th Anniversary Sale I've covered, top to bottom, upwards, downwards, backwards, forwards. The trickiest part of the sale is that so many of the best pieces are brand new and only around until they sell out. So I went through all 9,785 items included in the NSale and pulled the items at the HIGHEST risk of a “shoot, it's sold out” moment. These are the ones to grab first.

Why do I need this list?

Okay, let's get started! The very best and very trickiest part about the sale of all sales is that a lot of the items are brand new, and only on sale for a few weeks or until they sell out!

Things do sell out (sometimes on the very first day) because the prices are that good. These are the 15 items I think pose the very highest sellout risk in the whole 2026 sale, ranked. If you've got your eye on any of them, buy them very first before they have a chance to sell out.

1. Anine Bing Quincy denim jacket

$250.99 (reg $375, 33% OFF). Both my Nordstrom stylist and I made our lists independently, and then when we compared notes, we had THE SAME ITEM listed as the #1 most likely to sell out first, and this was it! Anine Bing is one of the most wanted brands everywhere right now, and this jacket is the piece everyone will be fighting over. Do not sleep on it!!

2. Chanel Most-Coveted Beauty Set

$174 (Beauty Exclusive). This is the one my Nordstrom stylist Katie flagged as her pick for the second-fastest sellout of the whole sale, and I completely agree. Because it's Chanel and because it's such a huge steal (and Chanel DOES NOT DISCOUNT)…this one's gonna be gone in a flash. Trust.

3. New Balance 327 sneaker (Sea Salt Pink Salt)

$79.99 (reg $104.99, 24% OFF). Mark my words, these are going to be one of the very first things to sell out. The 327 is having a serious moment right now, and the neutral colorways always vanish first. And with a hint of pink?!? Forget about it. Under $80 for a sneaker this popular is exactly why.

4. Avec Les Filles oversized leather jacket

$349.99 (reg $548, about $200 OFF). An insane steal for a jacket that's REAL leather (I checked, it's genuine leather, not faux). Real leather at this price is the kind of deal that does not sit around, so if a leather jacket has been on your list, this is the one to grab first.

5. THE GREAT. shawl collar sweater

$299.99 (reg $450, 33% OFF). THE GREAT. is brand new to the Anniversary Sale this year, and it's one of those uber-popular brands that never really goes on sale. First-year brands are always the sleeper sellouts because nobody's expecting them in the catalog.

6. PAIGE Anessa wide leg jeans (Willat wash)

$172.99 (reg $259, 33% OFF). The most viral women's jeans right now, and for good reason. I own several pairs of these and bought the brown version of the Anessa last year at the sale. They're ridiculously comfortable, they almost feel like wearing Lululemon level butter soft pants. Fit was true to size for me. 7. Favorite Daughter small canvas tote

$29.99 (reg $48, 37% OFF). Favorite Daughter is SO trending right now that the whole brand tends to disappear from sales, and this is a $30 way into it. Canvas totes made a raging comeback from the 90s and this one will be everywhere this fall.

8. Doona car seat + stroller

$411.99 (reg $550, 25% OFF). The Doona was my favorite mom gear item as a 5th time mom, and I can only ask myself why we didn't get one sooner. You can pop the baby in and out without wrestling a clunky stroller AND a heavy car seat. Here's the thing: the Doona is almost never discounted anywhere. This is the only place I've seen it on sale, so the scarcity is the whole story. If you're expecting or gifting, buy it first.

9. Dolce Vita Mercer raffia shoulder bag

$149.99 (reg $228, 34% OFF). Raffia bags are everything right now, and this one will be one of the very first bags to go. The natural color goes with literally everything in your closet.

10. adidas Gazelle Indoor sneaker

$89.99 (reg $130, 31% OFF). My 13-year-old's #1 pick of the entire sale, and that's exactly why these will sell out: the teens want them, which means the moms buy them (for the teens, and then a pair for themselves). They're one of the most on-trend sneakers out there right now.

11. Dolce Vita Mycah woven flat

$99.99 (reg $150, 33% OFF). One of the first shoes to go. Neutral colors always disappear first in the shoe department, and this is exactly the kind of neutral I mean.

12. Dolce Vita Marten mary jane flat

$99.99 (reg $150, 33% OFF). The other flat on my list, get one or both! The latte color is exactly the kind of neutral that disappears first.

13. Favorite Daughter large Go Sports canvas tote

$44.99 (reg $68, 34% OFF). Same brand bet as the small tote above, bigger bag. If you missed the small one or you carry your whole life with you (same), this size is the one I'd grab.

14. FARM Rio button-up cardigan

$137.99 (reg $198, 30% OFF). FARM Rio sold out on day ONE last year, so consider this your warning. I love that this one is versatile enough to wear way past summer, the dark floral reads fall too. Run, don't walk on this one!

15. Stanley Quencher 40 oz tumbler

$29.99 (reg $45, 33% OFF). These are rarely on sale, and when they are, it's usually in colors people aren't that excited about. When a rare gold-accent edition like this one comes out, it's usually even MORE than full price, so we're talking like $65. And those sell out REALLY fast.
