6 spring 2020 nail trends to try right now

Maybe it's all the sunny days that Orange County has been having or maybe it's that January felt about 7 weeks too long, but we've totally got spring on the brain. At our team retreat a couple weeks back we went and got manicures and today we're sharing our fresh spring nails and spring nail inspo with YOU! These six spring 2020 nail trends are so cute you just might need to #treatyoself!

Matte Pastels

I absolutely love pastels for spring and I've also loved a black matte nail for the fall, but I've never tried mixing matte with lighter colors. This time around I decided to shake things up and pull out all the pastels and top them with a matte topcoat and LOVED the way my spring nails turned out. It feels like a Cadbury mini egg mani. Which by the way, I could use a bag right about now!

Retro Rainbow

I love the idea of utilizing spring colors while still staying neutral! This retro rainbow gives me a pop of color and kitsch without being overpowering! Plus the nude base color goes with absolutely everything.

Creamy Light Lilac

I like to keep things simple when it comes to nails and typically stick with white 24/7/365. Instead of going with my usual whiteout, I picked a pretty spring lilac that pops without being too over the top. But I still opted to keep things basic and didn't add a print or pattern to my spring nails.

Barely There Polish

I tend to get natural-looking nails, and this pink is almost the same color as my skin. The natural color helps my nails look like they are lasting a little longer, even if they start chipping. I for sure do this on my toes when I don't feel like doing them for a couple of months!

Flower Power Lite

A neutral but totally classic OPI color paired with a little pop of floral? It's beginning to look a lot like springtime! On my nails at least.

'90s Inspired Ombre

Hot Malibu Barbie pink will never not be my jam. My go-to spring nail colors are always and forever a bright coral or a neon pink (blame my Southern California upbringing). The '90s are very much having a moment and the baby pink just seemed so '90s, but the ombre trend is very now. So this pink ombre was kind of remix of what I love + what's trending.
