BIG NEWS: Nordstrom changed their 10 point day policy and here’s why we’re thrilled

Are you making a list yet? Checking it twice? It's that time of year to start brainstorming gifts for everyone and HELLO, while you're at it, might as well earn some points back to shop with later! Nordstrom's 10 point days are pretty hard to come back (it's basically like getting 10% back on all your purchases) but they just upped their ante on their 10 point days and we're chit chatting today about why THIS IS AWESOME. Come sit with us.

If you shop at Nordstrom with a Nordy Card, you probably already know that one of the perks of being a frequent shopper is getting a personal 10 point day around the holidays. They've offered this for years now, but this year the whole game changes.

This year ALL Nordy Card members will get not just one but FIVE consecutive 10-point shopping days!! You get to choose 5 days in a row between now and December 19 to earn 10 points per dollar on all purchases made.

Since you need 2,000 points to earn a $20 Nordstrom note, on these 10 point days it's like earning 10% back on all your purchases. So if you spend $200 on Christmas gifts at Nordstrom, you'll get 10 points per dollar which = 2,000 points, so spend $200, get $20 back. PRETTY SWEET RIGHT?!

Pro tip: if you schedule between now and December 19 you can get 5 full days of shopping in!

I did a major happy dance when I found out Nordstrom was changing their 10 point day to 5 days this Holiday season, because in the past I've always panicked the day of my 10 point day at about 11:40 p.m. and stayed up with sleepy eyes staring at my computer screen trying to remember all the things I might need to buy anyway soon that I want to earn that 10 points per dollar on, but now I'll have almost a week to figure it all out!!

In addition to that, you can schedule a personal double points day before December 31. This is awesome if you forget about one or two little things and need to finish up some last minute Christmas shopping, or want to get a couple things for yourself after Christmas is over! Just remember to schedule your days on Nordstrom.com or with a salesperson in-store. You get points for purchases made in a store, online, or at Nordstrom Rack.

Need some gift ideas? This post is full of ideas for everyone INCLUDING that person who already has everything! This hooded cardigan can be found in this post as well, and it is the coziest thing you will ever wear with over 1,000 PERFECT reviews!!

Here are a few quick favorites at Nordstrom right now, whether you're shopping for gifts for the people you love (maybe someone who is hard to shop for!) or spoiling yourself.

      1. Kortney: WHERE is the link to this year’s 2019 – 10 point day post?
This information is not readily available. The clerks do not have it!

        1. Hello! Click HERE for our post from this year’s Nordstrom 10 point day. However because it happened in October the promo is not currently happening. But it should give you an idea of what it will be like in 2020! We will definitely post about it when it happens again. -Kourtney
