I tried on a ton of tops and sweaters with my jeans (see only THE BEST of jeans here) and I’m only sharing the very best tops, jackets and dresses today! This is the perfect opportunity to get your fall wardrobe ahead of time AND on sale! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale women’s selection really is excellent this year and word is spreading quick, so let’s get you the good stuff before it’s gone.

FAVE top

This is my VERY fave top of the sale! The luxurious feel of the fabric, the scallops, the cut, the fit, all just perfection. A splurge WELL worth it for a top that you’ll go back to over and over and over. 

Oversize denim jacket

This jacket totally stole my heart! I really have been wanting to get a good oversized denim jacket since the tighter styles are outdated currently. The details on this are SO fun, and the type of unique that once these sell out (and they WILL sell out soon!), no one else will have one quite like yours.

Button-up cardigan

The little buttons, I can’t get enough of them!! This is a really nice fitted cardigan that follows the tiny button trend and it’s going to work for so many outfits when you just need an extra layer, or in cooler months when you wear it as your main top! All the colors were excellent too.

Flattering, micro-button cardigan

I was kinda shocked how much I loved this! Those tiny buttons are SO on-trend, but the sleeve length and then the way it just laid perfectly, absolutely sold me. I almost skipped this one and I’m so glad I didn’t! I DID size up 1 size in this top since it’s very fitted!

Best travel set

I absolutely LOVE traveling in these sets!!! I was so so happy to see them in the sale this year. Interestingly, Zella tried to make a dupe but I have to say the fit just isn’t the same, and isn’t enough of a significant savings to recommend. Just get the real thing and thank me later!! Oh also, I’ve learned that the wide leg pants can sometimes be a little gross on flights when you use the restroom, so I like to travel in leggings or joggers now for that reason if it’s a flight longer than 2 hours!

Flutter short sleeve sweater

REALLY loved this one!! I seriously thought it was going to be one of those $200 tops because it had that look, but I was pleasantly surprised to see it rang up under $50!

*Almost sold out! While there isn’t anything like this in the same, we also loved the look of this striped short sleeve sweater!

New and improved half-zip

I almost didn’t try this on because I have an older version of this exact top (that I LOVE), but I’m so glad I tried this newer cut on! It’s the absolute perfect cropped length. Not tooooo cropped, but just enough to feel a little more updated!

Polo sweater

This preppy, on-trend sweater has so many elements that make this a win for fall 2025. Stripes? Check. Polo collar? Check. Perfect drop? Check. Fit cute and flattering? Check check!

Relaxed blazer

I have a couple of these hanging in my closet and they are absolute blazer perfection!! Blazers are SO in right now, and this one can be styled with jeans, over a dress, or they even have coordinating bottoms you can buy to make it a suit.

Everyday cardigan

Was tempted to get this grandma cardigan in every color! The perfect amount of softness, stretch, zero itchy factor, if you don’t have one of these in your wardrobe currently, you need!! Only a few colors left!

Denim crop shirt

This cropped denim top can function as a jacket OR a shirt, and it’s ultra cute!! I’d wear this as a shirt, or as a jacket over a dress, or a top with a skirt.

SOFT striped sweater

This striped top has that almost SILKY softness to it?! It’s got an oversized fit that says cool and casual, not sloppy and thoughtless. This will be your go-to sweater when you’re getting together with friends and don’t have time to think about your outfit. Throw this on with jeans and sneakers and you’re good to go.

Back pleat tee

This boxy tee was perfection for that style! Also VERY opaque (meaning not see thru!). Very high quality and a cute fit with all styles of jeans. And only $27.99 (reg $48)!

Best basic tee

If you’re into your basics being super soft, this is the ideal tee! It’s very lightweight but not see-thru, and very high quality!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: DRESSES

5/5 star polo dress

This dress was such an unexpected 5-star find! The way this falls, the quality of the fabric, the cut of the v pleats at the bottom, it all works together to create the most amazing form-fitting dress that’s also somehow SO flattering, you don’t even need spanx!

Belted midi dress

This printed dress fit so nicely. It’s lightweight enough to wear immediately, but the length will layer so pretty underneath a midi jacket in the fall with some boots. Fits true to size!

Minidress with a designer look

This dress was TOTALLY giving me loveshackfancy/Zimmermann vibes!! It was just a little too short for me, but so cute if you don’t mind mid-thigh length!
