There's just something about Fall that makes me want to turn on an Out of Office message and get outside. In January we have New Year's resolution and in the Spring we do Spring cleaning, but I think Fall is the business when it comes to getting outdoors and totally recharging your batteries!
When I was growing up I used to go backpacking with my dad every summer. Although I don't get out backpacking much anymore I still LOVE to hike and just be out in nature. Being outdoors is always just so healing and refreshing. A few months back I shared a quote by Harold Kushner in my #mintarrowmeaningfulmondays weekly instagram series that says in part, “There is something in us that, when we have some free time, makes us want to go up to the mountains. We want to watch the sunset. We want to sit by the shore and look at the water. Something tells us, ‘This defines your place in the universe.'” There is something about the natural world that is just so good for the soul!
Like my littles, I totally live for leggings in the Fall, because I'm all about the comfort. These have the perfect amount of stretch for any activity you can imagine. I love a good wide waistband to keep pants in place and holding everything else just right!
This cozy thermal crew is the perfect layering piece for the great outdoors and the perfect lounging piece for the great indoors! It's buttery soft and I love the gorgeous cream color and subtle symbol pattern.
These boots are magical! They're that wonderful combination of waterproof and cute. The slip-on style is ideal for wet weather, because goodbye wet laces! Ick! They're really pretty comfortable and keep your feet toasty warm.
I will never say no to a beanie in the Fall or Winter! It's the perfect accessory to top off your look and keep you warm in the process! This fun and super cozy beanie can be worn slouchy or pom up proud so it's almost like getting two beanies in one.
REI Co-Op believes that a life outdoors is the very best life and I wholeheartedly agree! I love that they have everything you need for all of your outdoor adventures. I've rounded up all my Fall favorites to help you get outside this season.
