Nordstrom Anniversary Sale BEAUTY top picks

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of the very best beauty sales of the whole entire year! Some of my tried and true beauty secret weapons (and new obsessions) are only on sale ONCE A YEAR, and that time is here!!

And this year I'm not guessing: almost every single thing on this list is from my actual Anniversary Sale order, and I'm picking most of it up from Nordstrom today. These are the things I chose for myself, and I'll tell you exactly why.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Exclusives sets:

1. Chanel Most-Coveted beauty set, $174 (Beauty Exclusive): A Chanel set at this value almost never happens, and the beauty exclusives always go first. My Nordstrom stylist Katie picked this as the second-fastest sellout of the whole sale. If you want it, this is the one you grab before you finish reading this post.

2. YSL Make Me Blush + Loveshine Lip Oil Stick set, $60 ($91 value): The Loveshine lip oil stick in shade 44 has been my signature color for years. There's nothing quite like it out there: it has the pigment of a lipstick but feels like a lip gloss, and it's SO hydrating. This year it comes with a blush, and I cannot wait to try it. The value on this set is incredible.

3. Hourglass Essentials Makeup Brush Set, $146 ($220 value): I've owned a couple of Hourglass brushes over the years and they're phenomenal. This is a really great value on super nice brushes that you'll be able to use forever. And if you don't want to splurge that much on brushes, the Sigma Soft Blur brush set is also in the sale for $59 ($108 value) and it's an excellent value. I've had my Sigma brushes for years and years and they hold up beautifully. They're a less expensive option that I still think is very high quality.

4. Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder + Brush Duo, $80 ($120 value): This one is SO highly rated, and I'm really excited to try it. I've only tried their compact setting powders, which are incredible, so I can't wait to try the loose setting powder too. And the brush is exciting all on its own. Hourglass brushes are elite.

5. Dermaflash Luxe+ Dermaplaning Set, $133 ($199 value): This gives you truly professional-quality, spa-like dermaplaning at home. It is a thousand times better than those little drugstore face razors. I used to have one, lost it, and I'm thrilled to be getting a new one!! Demo coming soon on Instagram.

6. Carolina Herrera Good Girl Blush Perfume Set (the pink one), $184 ($291 value): The pink one smells INSANE. I already have the blue one, so grab whichever combo you love, because here's what makes this set so good: you're basically getting the 1 oz travel size for free. You pay the normal price of the full size, and it comes with a little baby travel perfume too.

7. Armani Cheek Tint Liquid Blush Duo, $53 ($80 value): I have never tried an Armani Beauty product that I haven't loved, and these colors are beautiful. So many of the sale shades run a little too dark or cool or autumn-y. This duo is going to be gorgeous year-round, and I'm excited I can start wearing it in the summer.

8. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Trio Set, $44 ($75 value): Tried-and-true classic. My Brow Wiz is almost out, and the gel in this set is the best eyebrow gel I've ever used (easily top three of all time). And the little highlight crayon is such a good product that I'd forgotten about: it works so well and gives your brows a nice little pop. If you have coloring similar to mine, Soft Brown is the shade I recommend (it's the one I got!).

9. Clinique Chubby Stick Lip Balm Duo, $32 ($52 value): These have just incredible reviews, and I'm really excited to try them out.

10. Make Up For Ever Starlit Lip Set, $29 ($51 value): This one is really unique: a super creamy lip crayon, then a gloss that accentuates your natural lip color. I've never used a duo quite like this. And Make Up For Ever is a brand that only makes incredible products, so I can't wait to play with it.

Nordstrom Beauty Markdowns:

1. Dyson Supersonic r Hair Dryer (Ceramic Pink), $439.99 ($549.99 value): This is the best deal on the internet for this dryer. The reason I'm trying this one this year: it's specifically made to be the lightest-weight hair dryer Dyson has ever built. Like all their dryers, it's designed for zero heat damage, and it's getting rave reviews. A truly lightweight hair dryer is SO appealing to me, and I can't wait to try it.

2. Bio Ionic 1.25-Inch Long Barrel Styling Iron, $109.21 ($163 value): This one is really unique because it has that extra long barrel, and it curls your hair with minimal heat damage compared to other cheaper curling irons. It's one of my favorite things.

3. Kopari Coconut Hydrating Body Wash (mega 25 oz size), $19 ($36 value): This is a viral product for a reason, and the mega size is such a good value. It's going to last in my shower for months.
