Fall Makeup faves so far this year

I love makeup like a bird loves a french fry. I really do! I love finding new pretty things, trying new colors, finding good combos, discovering makeup hacks and secrets. And I especially love mixing up my makeup routine with each changing season. SO today I'm sharing some of the prettiest Fall makeup I've found and new things I've tried and loved so far this Fall and added to my makeup bag.

First off, this primer stick is a total dream! I love that it's not a big messy step to get all over my fingers but it's just a quick swipe over the areas where my makeup could crease. I've noticed a dramatic difference in filling in the lines and decreasing the crease (ha) in my makeup!

Next, I've absolutely been obsessed with this new foundation and since several of my friends have sung its praise I finally tried it and I'm hooked! It's pretty serious coverage but somehow at the same time it doesn't feel cakey, which I LOVE. It really will stay for 24 hours too, so once it's on it's ON until you wash your face. Who has time to re-do your makeup at the end of the day? Not me!

Lately, I've loved combining two foundations – a trick that lots of professional makeup artists use frequently – and I feel like I can create such a pretty color that's more true to my skin tone depending on how tan or light my skin is at the time.

Okay this is nothing new, but this concealer is what dreams are made of as far as a dewy, glowy concealer that ACTUALLY conceals, and stays as long as you want it to stay! I feel like I look ALIVE when I put a tiny bit of this underneath my eyes.

Still using and loving this brow gel because it's just so easy and so good and lasts so long!!

And this lipstick is the very most perfect Fall hue ever. It's a matte and it lasts for hours and hours without damaging the skin on your lips one bit.

It pairs perfectly with this blush that I actually dug out of the bottom of my makeup drawer recently. I've had it for a couple years and I love when I re-discover an oldie but goodie like this one. It's a VERY natural blush that doesn't shimmer or pop but just looks like a little natural pop of color on your cheek.

This eyeshadow palette that I talked about a couple weeks back (because it's on MEGA sale) has been my go-to lately. It has the prettiest fall matte colors and I feel like I can create all kinds of neutral OR dramatic looks super easily.

And lastly, this isn't new at all but I'm still relying on this trusty little liner because it just works SO well and it's the only way I can get winged liner to not look completely ridiculous on my face! It glides on super easily but also wipes off pretty effortlessly too if you goof up and need a do-over.

  1. Corrine,

When I use a cream eye shadow my eyeliner ends up on my eyelids. It doesn’t seem to mater if I use a pencil or a liquid eyeliner. Any suggestions?
