Cutest women’s hats and how to style them

Say bye bye bye bad hair days! Because…HATS! My solution for a bad hair day is always dry shampoo or a hat! Rocking a hat is my secret weapon for looking like I spent lots of time and effort getting ready–but really spent NONE!

A hat not only instantly takes an outfit from zero to sixty, it also protects your face from the sun and masks a multitude of evils. Dirty hair? Hat. Accidentally fell asleep with wet hair and now you look a hot mess? Hat. Roots in need of a touch up? Hat. But the very best thing about hats…they're season-less! Hats are the ultimate year round accessory! You guys have been asking for a hat roundup for a while so I'm finally sharing some of my favorite styles.

Felt Hat

I absolutely LOVE a good felt hat. There's something so effortlessly chic about a classic felt hat. It instantly levels up any look! Force me to choose and I just *might* say fall and winter hats are my most favorite. This Brixton wool felt hat is absolutely gorgeous and I guarantee you'll see it a lot over the next few months! This exact hat is limited in sizes and stock, but this one is a great similar option.

Brixton is probably my favorite women's hat brand because SIZES! No more one-size-fits all hats. Maybe some people have bigger brains, okay! HA! I love that these hats come in a variety of sizes for all your petite headed or big-haired needs! I wear a medium and like that it doesn't feel too snug AND if I decide to take it off my hair isn't matted to my head! Total WIN/WIN!

Bow Sunhat

I've had this pretty summer hat for YEARS (remember it from this post?) It pairs perfectly with bathing suits, but also with brunch! I totally dig the classic vibe and that it can easily be dressed it up or down! The quality is AMAZING and BONUS: it's packable!

I took it on my trip to Maui and it popped right out of that suitcase Hawaii ready! Definitely one of my FAVE women's hats because it's so so cute and feminine with that bow!

Trucker Hat

If loving trucker hats is wrong, I NEVER want to be right! If I'm trying to keep it casual when I'm spending the day out in the sun or out running errands a trucker hat is such a fun go-to! I love the attitude of a trucker and how darn easy they are to style!

Visor

I got so many DMs about this $14 Free People dupe while we were in Hawaii! It is one of my poolside secret weapons! I love that a visor gives me the option of still rocking a high pony or a messy bun, versus having to keep my hair down. Plus, I can totally lay down with it on. WINNING!
