Corrine StokoeThanksgiving is exactly ONE week away and things are about to get all planes, trains and automobiles over here!! At this time every year we take our little family back to the motherland (Utah) to spend the holidays with our extended families. The trickiest part of these holiday trips is outfitting our Orange County kiddos for legit winter weather! So today I'm sharing some tips on getting your kids outfitted for Winter travel without robbing the piggy bank, especially at this time of year when we need to save the cash for Santa duties.
Because kids grow SO fast we are basically forced to buy the girls a whole new alternative winter wardrobe every year just to spend time with our loved ones! This year we're including J.C. Penney on the list of things we're grateful for, because we can get everything we need and still afford holiday gifts!
Ani and Lyla lost. their. minds. over these kitten sweaters. They're super soft and cuddly and warm enough for Utah! I also love that the pullover style means the girls can dress themselves while we're at Gaga's. When it comes to adding an extra layer they thought these zip-up hoodies were absolutely purrfect! Even I have to admit those little ears on the hood are pretty darn adorable!

Does this rose gold puffer coat come in my size? Because I totally want it! I'm a total sucker for a fur lined hood. And all the heart eyes for all those tiny gold stars on the rose pink coat!
Just say YES to all the pom hats! The color of the pom is giving us major unicorn vibes and of course we want to keep those little heads toasty warm! It's a dang good thing I ordered two of these because both my girls went bananas when they saw these unicorn pom beanies.
J.C. Penney also pulled off a major win when it came to finding ALL the girls nicer outfits for Thanksgiving dinner. How darling are these coordinating plaid numbers? A top for Ani, a dress for Lyla and a bodysuit for baby Millie! Fancy enough for a more formal occasion, but affordable enough that I won't be crying over any spilled gravy or cranberry sauce!
