What to wear with leggings

It's time to give a shout out to the real MVP in everyone's closet: leggings! They're cute for working out, A+ for lounging around the house, and best of all, they can be dressed up and worn as the comfiest base layer known to (wo)man. Winter is such a good time to grab a few pairs of quality leggings and start adding layers for a cute look that stays comfy all day long! Here are some of my personal favorite ways to wear leggings dressed up.

My tunic sweater is a brushed jersey, which means it’s the snuggliest, softest fabric you can imagine! I really love the interest that the asymmetrical hem adds. Tunic sweaters like this one are just right for wearing over leggings and give such a flattering shape. This one is available in camel, navy, and black which are all such great options for winter! Another longer layer that I love pairing with leggings are mini-dresses (like this one from Free People). This is a great way to layer up for warmth while still wearing your favorite pieces! I love doing either flats or boots with a look like that.

Every time I wear these leggings I get SO MANY questions about them! The faux leather look is so much fun and these LITERALLY make you look ONE SIZE SMALLER.

I loved creating this casual look by pairing them with a tunic and loafers, but you could dress it up by doing heels and a statement necklace and be ready for a night out. These are actually a coated athletic legging, so they’re way more comfortable than you might think, and they have a control top that makes everything feel all smooth and sucked in. They’re amazing!

Tory Burch bag that goes with everything?….um, yes, please! This small tote comes in five different colors (I have the cardamom) and I can honestly never pick a favorite…although this nude color is always a win in my book. The inside has a ton of compartments so you can carry a laptop or just keep all of your stuff organized, so it’s a great choice for an everyday bag.

I’ve probably already mentioned that leopard print is everything to me right now. I just love it! These flat slip-on loafers have such a great profile–the pointy toe combined with the fun pattern makes them a great statement shoe while still being comfy enough to wear all day long. Right now there are only a couple sizes left, so hurry and snag them if they’re available in your size!
