Corrine StokoeNow that August is almost over (has this summer flown by for everyone or is it just me?!), I'm starting to think about cute fall outfits and the best ways to stock my closet for the upcoming months without spending a small fortune. Today I wanted to feature some of my favorite items from Nordstrom that look great together, but can also be mixed and matched in a hundred different ways in different outfits, too! I'm sharing a few Fall MUST-HAVES that I'm 100% certain you'll love so much you'll be twinning with me wearing them over and over this season!
These white booties are unexpectedly versatile and are already becoming a staple item in my closet. They can be worn so many different ways! I cannot wait to mix and match them into my fall outfits. I feel like a white boot is so unexpected in the cooler months, and I love that these will add that pop of brightness and color to any look I add them into.
Does anyone else want to hug the inventor of shapewear?! These distressed jeggings (yes – jeggings!!) have a shaping panel in the front that is a postpartum dream. They're high-waisted, so they give that ultra-smooth look through the hips and stomach, and I love the modern distressing on the hem. I am going to be living in these jeans over the next few weeks while my body keeps changing in shape and size and I get closer to my pre-baby weight. One really cool thing about these is that you can keep wearing them as you lose weight, which is such a win!
A lightweight long sleeve is the perfect piece for the summer-to-fall transition. This tee is lightweight and so, so soft, and I love how flattering the fitted sleeves feel next to a flowier body. It's definitely a new favorite–I bought it in TWO colors and I kind of want more! Pieces like these are great on their own in the slightly warmer months, and then they make great layering basics once things really cool off.
There are so many things I love about this bag, but top of my list is how roomy it is! There's plenty of space for everything I need with a brand-new baby (and two active girls who still want snacks and entertainment everywhere we go!), but it doesn't scream diaper bag! at all. It even has a perfectly sized spot for a laptop. This is 100% a bag I'll be using for months to come. It's got tons of pockets inside for staying organized, AND it's less than $70!!!!! SCORE.
Rounded sunglasses are my jam at the moment. They're really in right now and the shape is so flattering on every face shape. These ones are totally an investment piece I've owned for months now and plan to keep wearing for years, but there are so many lookalikes you could find that would be less of a splurge!
