Happy second day of summer you guys! I'm so excited about it being officially summer (AKA beach season) in Southern California, pool time in Utah, boating weather across the country … and because I NEVER shy away from any reason to celebrate, I'm here to bring you the best swimsuit and cover-ups of the summer so you don't miss a beat.

When it comes to this rainbow swimsuit, I was kinda wishing I could just wear it every day on our recent trip to Hawaii! Anything with rainbows AND bows is something I can 100% get on board with! Unfortunately this exact one is sold out, but we found a super similar one that is just as cute!

I love these sunnies so so much! Reflective lenses are HUGE this summer, and these give a modern girl twist to those classic BIG sunglasses. Coverups are there for us all those times you need to throw something on to run over to the taco stand or to grab a Diet Coke! I'm all about the billowy and flowy. Anything that is light enough to wear on the hottest, most tropical islands and easy to just throw on! Everything you want a cover-up to be, right?

This coverup I have on above is seriously the BEST. It comes in four different colors and I am trying to come up with a reason I need all of them! AND it is $35. Yes please! I love that you can still see your cute swimmer while you wear it and it's so light and airy. You neeed this!

And oh hello! Let me mention this fun hat! It is sold out right now, but here is one that is just as cute! I love bringing a hat with me to the beach because it helps me keep my face out of direct sun. And, it's just cute! On everyone, even those people who say they aren’t hat people. This is another of my most favorite swim suits. I’m obsessed not only with the cute pattern, but the fit is perfection. A quality swim suit with a good cut makes all the difference, people! I love every Kate Spade swimsuit I’ve owned and I feel like they are completely worth all the pennies.

And I’m seriously loving these cute slide on sandals. Bows and no straps to buckle? My kind of sandal! They are comfy and are just so fun. You could easily wear these with a cute sun dress or some cropped skinny jeans for a summer date night look.
