I’ll just be perfectly honest with you. I’m not a workout junkie. It doesn’t come easily for me, in fact it’s the last thing I usually want to do in my spare time! I’d much rather have a tickle fight with my toddlers, read a book, waste time on snapchat, really almost anything (well except maybe fold laundry!) than work out. BUT, I love the way I feel after! And I’ve been trying some new stuff lately that I think you might love too. Plus I’ve gotta make sure every single reader of mine has these leggings in her closet. EVERYONE needs them!
These Zella Live-in Leggings are stretchy, moisture wicking and breathable enough for working out, but thick enough to wear with a “regular” outfit without showing your undies at all! You WILL NOT see your underwear show through in these. That’s a gigantic bonus in my book!
So you can hit the gym in these, or throw on a long sweater and boots with them all through the Fall and Winter. BAM. Wardrobe staple goodness.
Oh and did I mention the hidden keyhole? It’s pretty great too if you’re leaving your car somewhere and want to be hands-free for your workout.
Now for my workout and weight loss tips. Which are very VERY ordinary girl, non-professional, just me talking about what I think is working for me lately.
When it comes to working out I usually don’t have oodles of time on my hands. I’ve jumped on the bandwagon with millions of other girls (literally, millions) and I’ve been using the Sweat with Kayla – Kayla Itsines app! I love it because it tells you exactly what to do in super easy to follow instructions for each move, it only takes you 28 minutes, and you can do it from literally anywhere. I do the workouts at home, at the gym, on the road, anywhere. And 28 minutes. EVERYONE has 28 minutes in their day!
The sweat app incorporates planned workouts where she gives you the exercises, as well as cardio days where you’ll do any type of sweating, heart pumping working out.
She’s also got some great guides for healthy eating on there that you can follow. I take them more as suggestions rather than religion. Maybe that’s why I still have weight to lose! Ha.
I’m sure you’ve heard before that diet (not dieting but what you put into your belly daily!) is the biggest factor in weight loss. I’m NO expert at this but I am a recovering expert nightly ice cream eater. This may sound so stupid but just cutting out treats after my kids go to bed (so like anytime after 8 p.m.) has been hugely helpful. I like to buy those little chobani flip mixtures and if I’m REALLY dying for a treat I have one of those! I like the Salted Caramel Crunch best 😉
Before I wrap this up I just have to put a note in here about how much I LOVE this Nike tank – ALSO a great deal during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!! It’s only $25.90 ($40 after the sale ends) and it’s extremely breezy and comfy to wear while you sweat it out.
And these Nike Frees are like heaven for your feet. ZERO breaking in required. Extreme in the comfort department. Like most Nikes they run a half size small so size up 1/2 size! These suckers are hard to find on sale so get them now for $89 instead of after the sale for their regular retail price of $120.
