You know what I love? Well okay, I love a lot of things like a good pedicure and a sunset in my hometown and snuggling my two littles on a Saturday morning when we're all being lazy and “sleeping in,” yes to all of those things. But I love love love when you find a dress that's so perfectly versatile, it's your uniform for the fanciest party to the coziest gathering.
And that, my friends, is what the most versatile party dress ever is all about.
Dress this little red anthro dress up with some sky high heels, a fancy little bag, and dainty earrings for a night to the nutcracker and a fancy dinner, or wear it with flats and a low bun to a girlfriend gift exchange. Put it on with black tights and some kitten heels to go to dinner with friends on New Year's Eve, or wear it to church with pearls and pumps as your Sunday best. This is the type of dress that's unique but understated in the most impeccably memorable way.
Obviously I went for the dressed up version here! And to start off with the details, I also found these little gold sparkle dangle earrings at anthropologie that are so pretty and super giftable at $34. I can't think of a single girlfriend I have who wouldn't love this set!
I can't even get over how absolutely darling this gold sequin clutch is, and it's priced perfectly at $68. You know how some items at anthropologie sell out before you can even blink? I have a feeling this little gem may be one of those items! High sell-out risk friends. HIGH.

And while we're talking about high sell-out risks, the most versatile party dress ever is already gone in an XXS but still available in every other size, for now at least! But now that the cat's out of the bag on this one, no promises on how long it will last, either. The most versatile party dress ever runs true to size and, as you can see in the photos, it's perfectly knee length too for me and I'm 5'9. So I'm thinking maybe the model was wearing a petite? Because the length is just right for me.

hey meredith! i started with a small but went with a medium for length, but could have stuck with the small because it almost fit me a little better around the waist and hips! ha i don’t know if that’s even helpful?! 🙂
