pretty in pink! mixing high and low price points

neimansHighLow

today i'm super excited to bring you guys a post that i partnered with neiman marcus on to show you an outfit that mixes high and low price points.

there are totally certain items that i really like to splurge on. first of all, pointy heels. there is NOTHING on this earth more uncomfortable than a cheap pair of pointy toe heels. these valentino heels in fuchsia or blush are not only beautiful, they're super well made so you can actually walk around in them for hours without dying.

bags. bags are another total splurge category for me. i don't actually own this YSL bag but i wouldn't mind owning it if you know what i mean! love that it could pair perfectly with either the fuchsia or blush pair of valentinos.

designer jeans are luckily a splurge that isn't quite as hard on your bank account as shoes and bags, so they fit into a much lower price point than a givenchy tote. i own this pair of AG skinny jeans and they are incredibly good to the thigh and bum area. totally a purchase you would not regret and could dress up or down depending on the occasion.

tops are something i save on as much as possible. why? you throw them in the wash, they get dirty. they get sweaty. they get holes easily. they just don't last as long, no matter how high or low the price point is. that said, a shirt from neiman's is going to fit way better than a cheaper teeny-bopper store.

i love this white blousey nicole miller top – definitely going to be better for someone who's more conscious of their mid-section. and it's on sale for $27! but everything joie fits like a dream and this slub knit tank of theirs is only $28.

i'm loving these two leather jackets from the neiman marcus line in pink – one in fuchsia and one in blush. they're both real leather which is nice but at a pretty low price point for the quality!

kendra scott is kind of middle of the line, not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive either. all of their jewelry has lasted beautifully for me and i love that this mother of pearl earring set is neutral enough to go with either look.

that dogeared karma necklace is the same one donned by celebs, but it's pretty affordable at $66 and the type of thing you can just wear every day as your go-to accessory. also kinda nice knowing it's been in for a while now and isn't going out anytime soon.

and i don't care if it's hot, cold or in between outside, i can't go a day without sunglasses. i picked out this hot pink pair and a pebble neutral for either the fuchsia or blush outfit.

saint laurent bag // AG jeans // fuchsia leather jacket // blush leather jacket // nicole miller tank // fuchsia valentino heels // blush valentino heels // dogeared necklace // joie tank // hot pink sunglasses // pebble neutral sunglasses // kendra scott earrings

thanks neiman marcus and shopstyle for sponsoring this post!
