Today's story is an inspiring one! My friend Ruby Franke, mom of 6 and vlogger at the youtube channel 8passengers, shares her story with me of how she and her husband as newlyweds found themselves buried in debt and barely able to pay for milk at the grocery store without putting it on a credit card or line of credit. She tells me about how they sold their home and went back to apartment living and stayed committed to living within their means instead of keeping up with the Joneses, and how they still continue to live this lifestyle as they've paid off their home and resolved to stay debt-free. Ruby shares some wise counsel with me about not comparing or being compelled to do what everyone around you is doing, but to have the courage to get honest and be true to what you know in your heart is best for you.
