pale pink skinnies

hi guys! i'm here in NYC for fashion week but i'm super excited to show you one of two looks i shot last week in collaboration with nordstrom. we partnered to show you a couple of CUTE looks with jeans under $100 – yes it can be done! i do love getting a really high quality denim but sometimes, especially when i'm going for a pair that's just on trend for a season or i might not get a ton of wear out of – i really want to save my pennies on those purchases and instead put them toward you know, an unbelievable pair of heels down the road. or diapers. you know. whichever is more expensive (diapers are winning currently).

i love that nordstrom offers BOTH affordable and high end options! i found a couple of super cute pairs of more expensive jeans (normally) that are 40% off and highlighted them yesterday in my nordstrom clearance post, but these are even less expensive and so perfect for spring! i'm also a HUGE fan of nordstrom's truefit guide. have you ever used it? it makes picking the RIGHT size for you super easy based upon what size you normally are in a few different brands, your body shape, etc. it has never (not even once!) steered me wrong. seriously, such a fan.

anyway back to this outfit. it's soft, feminine, casual and yet made me feel more put together than just sweats and a tee which i'm rocking on the reg lately. also, these are normal jeans that i'm honestly comfortably wearing with the help of the bellaband! my last pregnancy i only tried a knockoff version but this time i decided to go for the big guns and wow is it different! it totally makes wearing regular jeans doable, and i haven't been able to fit my belly into regular jeans since about week 9. not kidding. my tummy pops out fast so i was more than impressed with the ability this sucker had to keep my drawers up. i think it's the gummy lining combined with the really strong but stretchy fabric. my other one (i now realize) was pretty weak sauce.

love that this tote is reversible. love the soft pink of these girly heels. really kind of just love everything about this look!
