my jeans don’t have to be designer

friends, i have a confession. i used to be a serious designer jean snob. i went through a majorly long phase of life where i would only buy rock & republic, true religion (cringe! i know), hudson, seven for all mankind, you get the point. i have a seriously embarrassing collection of these jeans! and they were awesome. during that time when i was working full time and didn't have a kid. but now that i'm a stay at home work from home mommy, i just can't be dropping that kind of $ on jeans every time i need a new pair. i mean sometimes, maybe. but not every time.

so.

i'm going to show you one of my favorite new pairs of jeans that i found at nordys for under $50. they are comfy. they are a little stretchy. they are the perfect skinny. and they go with pretty much just about anything. and let's be honest. with skinnys in the winter, you're covering most of them up half the time anyway with boots on the bottom.

i threw two outfits together for this one with the same denim and was lucky enough to have the incredibly talented jorden keith snap these photos. let me know what you think!

  1. I think, if you have your body, any jeans would look good. I think you should try these jeans on someone a size 10, and see if they still look that good. That's the real test. 🙂 I love them though! You look darling as always!

    1. andrea, you are too nice. but i definitely think there are jeans that fit crappy and jeans that fit great! and my point here is, you don't have to spend $$$ to get a good pair 😉

  2. definitely going to check them out post pregnancy… I could use another pair of skinnies and while I'm also a designer denim hoarder, I'd rather buy my girls cute clothes now than myself. Plus, when they end up with spit up and spaghetti sauce fingers it hurts a lot less 🙂

  3. I am always on the lookout for great jeans, thanks for the recommendation! Question…how is the length? I'm tall 5'9 and need longer jeans.
