5 MIRACLE tools that make breakfast with littles a breeze

Breakfast time with littles. It can sometimes feel like a mild version of the hunger games. Tiny humans tearing into refrigerators and pantries as if they haven't eaten in 3 months while babies start fussing in a matter of milliseconds because it seems like the best way to join in the fun.

Approximately 45 seconds after my daughter Anabelle wakes up she says “mama I HUNGRY!” And by hungry she means on the brink of starvation hangry.

And that means I've either gotta be on my a-game, or I'm gonna have a huge mess on my hands. Literally.

So we've tried and tested many, many (and I mean MANY) mealtime tools. Like every single sippy, spoon and bowl known to man. And after spending a small fortune trying everything we could get our hands on for the past four years, we've found FIVE affordable little tools from Munchkin that make any mealtime a thousand times easier.

Let's start with the hungriest: the toddlers.

My ani looooooves to have cereal in the morning. She also loves to get overly excited and make a tornado of a milk-and-cereal mess when she knocks her bowl over. Kind of like a puppy. A lot like a puppy actually.

These Munchkin stay-put suctin bowls are just like they sound. They suction to your solid surface, table, counter or high chair and THEY STAY PUT! It's incredible.

But let's talk about sippy cups. There's a point where you want to graduate from them. Except that you're afraid of spillage. Eeeeeeeverywhere.

I'm about to change your parental life. Literally.

The Munchkin Miracle Cup might sound pretentious but it's just fact. It's a straight up miracle. Your little one can drink out of the miracle cup just like a big girl (or big boy) without spilling. EVER.

I don't even know how they do it!!! But I don't care. Because it's magical. Just trust me.

And now to the babies.

munchkin love-a-bowls

Love-a-bowls: the perfect little size for baby food feeding! If you make your own baby food, great! If you don't, great! Either way, you probably have baby food leftovers a lot. Because it's impossible to know exactly how hungry that tiny human is who doesn't speak yet.

Munchkin love-a-bowls are not only the perfect baby food feeding size, they're dishwasher and microwave safe and they come with perfect little lids to keep that food fresh when you save it too! A set of 3 is $7 retail.

But what I love using even MORE about baby food feeding time is the white hot safety spoon! Munchkin's white hot safety spoons are a lifesaver if you're utilizing a microwave to heat up frozen or refrigerated baby food. Because, you guys, they TURN WHITE when the food is too hot! It takes all the guesswork out of “ohmygoshihopethisisnttoohotformybaby.” It's awesome.

The one mealtime tool we tried for the first time for the purpose of this post that we didn't already own was the Munchkin to-go bib. This bib is revolutionary! It catches crumbs and extra food that will inevitably drop from your cute baby's face. And you can roll the bib up after a messy meal on-the-go so that the leftovers don't migrate all over your pretty diaper bag. No thanks!

Every one of these products are made by Munchkin and I would give these to my own sister if she gave my children a cousin on my side and had a baby (hint hint!!!) because I love them that much.

Munchkin rids the world of the mundane by developing clever, innovative solutions that make family life safer, easier, and more fun. You can find Munchkin products at Munchkin.comTargetBabies’R’UsWalmart, and Amazon. It’s the little things!
