gorjana golden holiday collection + exclusive discount

i had the HUGE privilege this month of collaborating with a FAVORITE brand of mine – gorjana – on her beautiful new golden holiday collection! she's a local jewelry designer (just up the street in laguna beach!) and her brand is centered around the theme “live love layer.” gorjana is a top selling jewelry brand at retailers like shopbop and nordstrom, and it's pretty obvious why. honestly i could own every single piece of jewelry she makes and be in heaven. everything she makes is beautiful. seriously.

i love how totally different these two looks are! starting off, here's a holiday party look. i've seen tulle pop up everywhere lately so i decided to jump in and indulge in the tulle trend. i highly recommend wearing this skirt with a slip (it's pretty see-thru!) but it's fine with a dark slip under. and a fitted shirt – mine's from target. and those glitter shoes, i have always wanted to justify a pair so when kate spade designed these i decided i had to have them!

i love how delicate and sparkly some of the gorjana winter collection pieces are so they really were the perfect amount of pretty for this outfit without totally overpowering it. i know i'll be wearing these over and over!

this next look is totally different but i love it just as much! i think the little message bracelets and rings gorjana has created for her holiday collection are so sweet and clever and perfect for holiday gifting. i chose to wear “be the change” and “all we have is now” for bracelets, two messages that i find so inspiring! i also have always loved the word “believe” and that has so much meaning for me, especially at this time of year. the hashtag “no filter” necklace is just cheeky and funny.

also, the tunic i'm wearing here is the perfect length to wear with leggings (yes!!) and i wore it with my fave forever 21 faux leather leggings. they're sold out (sorry!!) but here's a similar pair for just a few dollars more. and these leopard shoes – could you just die?! for sure my new fave pumps.

  3. Wow! In love with your tulle skirt, looks fabulous…very festive. I think I read somewhere on your blog that you are 5’9 or 5’10? How, how do you manage to look so natural and well, normal wearing heels, high heels?? I am 5’10 and feel like i look like some crazy amazon woman thundering through the crowd when i attempt any heel…you look so…chic and comfortable! Any advice? Love your blog, I meant to write a while back saying thanks for scoop on the Frye boot sale. I finally bought my first pair after coveting them since my Seventeen magazine days back in high school. I think I even remember that ad 🙂 XO

    1. hey michelle! i really think it’s just getting comfortable in wearing heels. i used to feel that way too but now i wear them all the time, and most models are 6′ tall or taller and they all wear heels everywhere too! it’s just a matter of getting used to them 😉 and yay i’m so glad you finally got some fryes! they’re the best huh!!
