i am really excited about this week's what i wore post! anabelle and i both had on really casual outfits and we shot in this darling little cupcake shop one sweet slice, and of course ate cupcakes after.

the ruffle leggings and matching headband on ani are handmade by one of my favorite shops ever, miss j handmade. they are super high quality and the ruffle detail is to die for! they just switched over to ready-made so your orders will ship fast (yay!). she's having a huge black friday sale where her entire shop is 25% off with code GIVETHANKS. sale starts thursday at 3 p.m. MST and ends monday 11:59 p.m. MST.

and as for my outfit? i finally embraced the hi-top sneaks. i don't know what took me so long, because they are just fab. you know how you feel a little skinnier with heels on? but some days you just want to go casual/comfy? problem solved. one more thing, the shirt i have on … a one-liner from one of the best movies of all time. and when you buy it, you are donating to breast cancer research. double like.

after the cupcake shop we packed up and went to an event supporting two of the loveliest girls i know, heather and heidi who authored the book fairybirds. it's a book about teaching little girls to give back and the message is just beautiful.
