This pretty blue Easter dress may be one of my favorite dresses I've ever found! The blue is even prettier in person, the type that just jumps at you it's so vibrant. It's a little hard to tell from one of the full-body photos, but in some of the closer shots you can see it has the most adorable tiny pleats at the empire waist too that make it so feminine and flattering.
I paired this pretty blue Easter dress with my new total obsession for footwear right now, these camel mules. You know when you go into a store and try something on and think, “okay, if I keep thinking about these for a while after I leave, I'm going to come back and get them.”?
That's exactly what happened with these mules – I tried them on while I was shopping for NYFW but walked away with the booties I wore in this outfit since mules were so totally impractical for 0 degree weather in New York in February. But they basically haunted me in my dreams so I went right back in and bought them a couple weeks after being home!
The girls in-store told me that these camel mules have been selling like crazy and they expect these to be a sell-out item even before summer hits. They are literally heaven in a shoe. Like THE most comfortable mule I have ever placed on my feet. And so super flattering and leg-elongating. And did you see the wood-grain heel?! I die.
And about this simple bucket bag. Not your ordinary bucket bag. Kind of the modern, minimalist version of a bucket bag and way more my style than most bucket bags I've seen! Kind of nice to wear next to a really busy pattern like this dress that kind of begs to be the center of attention in the outfit.
