The GE Profile Opal Nugget Ice Maker 1.0 will make 34 lbs of ice per day (the larger model- GE Profile Opal 2.0 with XL Side Tank will make 38 lbs per day) vs. the Gevi household countertop nugget ice maker which will make 30 lbs per day. However, we do notice the Gevi ice maker producing a quicker ice output. Both of the GE Profile Opal Nugget Ice Makers have a viewing window to help you quickly glance and see how much ice is available where as the Gevi household countertop nugget ice maker has an “anti dripping lid” concealing the ice drawer.

Why we love nugget ice makers
